Hi everyone, I’m Elliott, but you can also call me Eli. I use he/him pronouns, and I’m originally from Chicago.
I would probably say that my favorite game of all time is the trading card game Magic the Gathering. Because of its long history and well-established game systems, there is a lot of room for self-expression and interesting decision-making. Furthermore, because each card essentially acts as a game piece, it’s possible to innovate on the foundations provided by the base game and build it into the type of play experience that you enjoy.
A game that I’ve been enjoying a lot recently is Guilty Gear: Strive. Besides Smash Bros., it’s the first fighting game I’ve ever played, and learning a new genre has been super fun. Plus, I have a competitive streak, so it’s also nice to have an outlet to vie for superiority against my friends 🙃
