Grace – Tiny Playable Prototype

Playtest 1:

  • Player seems to be enjoying the game a lot, exclaiming at points of the game.
  • Player loves the tone of conspiracies.
  • Player thinks an improvement would be shorter passages (no longer than one page).

Playtest 2:

  • Player seems to like the premise.
  • Player is skipping paragraphs and just clicking through things, which can mean the paragraphs may not be engaging enough or are too long.
    • Possible improvement: player gets to choose to continue listening to a story or not.
  • Player likes the feeling of having different options.
  • Some possible improvements:
    • Add the background story and definition of vocabulary as side explanations that one can choose on clicking or not.
    • More story plots about how Granny M is connected and involved with Company C.
    • More options to reinforce the feeling that “I” (player) can influence the story.
