Balder’s Gate is truly an excellent game, if not heavy on the graphics and asks a lot out of my computer. It’s a game that I love to play right now that follows micro parallel arcs. It has an expansive, open world where you can run off and do side quests. Within those side quests, the mechanics and the actions are the same; it is like building up yourself along the main story line. The game will wait for you to do whatever you need to do and gain whatever experience and reach whatever levels you want, but the overall main arc will still follow three distinct levels where the narrative will progress.
