Sketchnote: Game Architecture

A game I enjoy is DBZ: Dokkan Battle (mobile). The main architecture of this game is skill loops. Players are shown how to do “connect 3” gameplay — using ki orbs, similarly to other “connect 3” games such as Candy Crush. As players play, they gain an understanding of how the orbs fall and interact with each other.

I would argue that there really isn’t a prevalent arc in this game even though there is a story mode (which is easily skippable).
