Sketchnote: Game Architecture

A game I love is Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. This game has an overarching narrative arc: rescue Princess Zelda, and defeat the evil Ganondorf. However, there are several core looping mechanics: the shrines, which teach you new ways to interact with certain powers that the player (Link) has, and side quests, which are short, contained arcs that often have you get closer with a single NPC.
