Trip Down Memory Lane

Types of fun: Challenge, Sensation, Discovery

Narrative Approach: One night, you and your friends go into an abandoned indoor playground you all used to go to when you were younger. You go inside, turn on the lights and it, oddly, looks just like it did 15 years ago. Memories of your childhood begin flooding back. Before you know it, you’ve been in the abandoned playground for a year. Time operates differently there. You feel like a kid, but are aging twice as fast as you would on the outside. Once you realize these things, you try everything you can to escape.

What’s Real?

Types of fun: Challenge, Sensation

Narrative Approach: You and your friends are at a carnival in a foreign city. Before you enter, they instruct you to drink a liquid that they claim will elevate your experience. You see everyone else drink it with no hesitation so you proceed to do so as well. The liquid begins to kick in. You see colors you’ve never seen before and feel the happiest you’ve ever been. At one point though, your friends become unrecognizable, new rides seem to pop up out of nowhere, and you are unable to know what’s real and what’s not. The challenge for the night is to figure out what’s going on and investigate the liquid.

Ball Pit World

Types of fun: Challenge, Discovery

Narrative Approach: You enter an abandoned indoor playground one night. You jump into the ball pit and fall what feels like 10 stories to the bottom. A whole world of childlike wonder is down there. At first, it seems like a dream, a good dream. But then, things are not as they seem and it is your job to make it back to the real world.
