Emotions: Cuteness, empathy, mystery

Moodboard:

Directions:

1. You play a murder-solving ghost researcher – detective narrative, noir-kinda interrogations with ghosts. Challenge comes from asking ghosts the right questions based on clues you find around the train, or making emotional appeals based on things you learn about their lives.
– types of fun: narrative, challenge, fantasy

2. You play as a ghost figuring out why you were murdered – mostly narrative talking walking/sim, resolve emotional issues with other ghosts that you interact with. Could interact with various afterlife features, maybe storyline around going to heaven/hell, discovering things about the life you lived via the people on the train.
– types of fun: narrative, fellowship, sensation

3. action/stealth game where you run down a train car avoiding ghosts, figure out how to stop the ghosts from haunting the train when you reach the end. Ghosts in this game are more scary than cute, maybe representing fears or trauma from their lives. Narratively, you might play as a ghost researcher who uses various ghosty tools to fight/avoid the ghosts while helping them leave for the afterlife.
– types of fun: challenge, narrative
