Sketchnote: Game Architecture

Example Game: One game I really enjoy is GTA V. There is a “main” story which contains a single arc and is very movie-like with cutscenes and defined objectives. However, players can also embark on side quests or engage with permanent game loops (such as driving or other miscellaneous tasks). Thus, the game overall contains a mix of both loops and arcs.
