Sketchnote: Game Architecture


A game I enjoyed is Undertale. There is a main focus on interaction arcs. There are multiple interaction loops where players interact with items (resources you pick up along the way) and people (other characters in the underworld) with many micro narratives and the player’s outcome is shaped by these interactions through comprehensive feedback mechanisms. These loops help to tell an overarching story where the player gets closer to their ultimate goal.
