One game that I really like is Mortal Kombat. While playing, it is very easy to pick up basic attacks just by clicking buttons on the controller. However, as you start testing out combinations of buttons, you can start to understand how you can use a combination of attacks to better compete. This very clearly follows the interaction loops architecture, where players learn controls, decide what to use, complete the action, see if it was effective, and either reuse or discard it for next time.
