For our game, which is constantly evolving, we made a full prototype in Figma and then printed it out so that the users could physically play it. At first our

- Important question to answer: we want to have a game that feels like it can be fun in its own right.
- type of prototype: Same base prototype with a variation of the rule card. Instead of classic codename rules, we’d throw in some complicating rules.
- My guess: Our game currently doesn’t feel different enough from codenames.
- Does our game spark creativity or does it stump people?
- Important question to answer: we want to have a fun time with the game, and if it is too hard to play that will not be the case.

- My guess: Our game currently requires a bit too much thinking for it to be fun for the users, we may want to see where we can let them rely a bit more on their existing knowledge.
- Does our prototype utilize general knowledge or is the content too niche?
- Important question to answer: we want to have a game that feels accesssible to people who have totally different lived experiences.
- type of prototype: Same base prototype, with a variation of the “people” cards. Instead of illustrated characters, we’d use an alternate deck with pop-culture figures.
- My guess: Our game will feel more accessible when we use more commonly known people.
