Hello everyone. My name is Tommy, and I use he/him pronouns. I am a second year MS CS student and worked at Activision as a gameplay engineer for 3 years prior to this.
My favorite game of all time is Sekiro because of its satisfying and fluid combat that is all designed to get you in a flow, its challenging and well designed bosses, as well as its beautifully dark lore.
As for a game I’ve been enjoying recently, the obvious choice is Elden Ring, which I do love very much. But I have with Inscyption here, which at its core is a rogue-lite deckbuilder, one of my favorite new sub-genres. However, just like Undertale or Doki Doki Literature Club, Inscryption hides a lot behind the surface. It builds up player expectations then shatters them, leaving players bewildered but excited for what comes next.
