Hi! My name is Alisa Wang (she/her). I am a junior studying computer science and a coterm in MS&E.
One of my favorite games of all time is Ace Attorney, a story-based game where you act as a defense attorney and solve mysteries. I love the game’s interactive storylines, its characters, the artwork, and the problem solving involved in playing the game. Although the design is relatively simple and is mainly based on text and 2D graphics, playing the game makes me feel immersed in a thrilling story.
A recent game I’ve enjoyed playing is Wordle, a word game where you have six tries to guess a five letter word using information from previous guesses. I enjoy this game because of its simple, intuitive, and elegant design. It only takes a few minutes to play, so it is a great way to take a short break in an entertaining way. There is a new word to guess daily, so I enjoy coming back each day to play again.
