Note: It is a bit longer than 20 minutes because two songs are very long, you can use the first few minutes of each to get the feeling.
Game Directions
1. Puzzle Platformer
This could be a version of the game where our critter protagonist cannot fall off of platforms or fall too far from them, risking losing health points. In this version, the protagonist could interact with the world around them using specific keys and could solve puzzles that progress them to the next phase of the story. This version would include movement mechanics like jumping and running, and puzzle-solving mechanics like chewing through wires.
2. Escape Game
This could be a version of the game where the critter is trapped in the factory and attempting to escape, finding clues and items around the factory that get them closer to their goal. This version would focus on world exploration and could have the critter interact with the world by picking items up, searching inside items, dropping items, and using items.
3. Mystery Narrative Game
This could be a version of the game where the critter is attempting to solve the mystery of how to save the forest and stop the factory. This version could see the protagonist exploring rooms to find new information, talking through their thought process, keeping a log of some kind, and exploring new rooms once old ones have been explored. This version would focus on the narrative of the experience and less on the mechanics of the experience and could flesh out the relationship between the protagonist and MiniAI.
