Hey!
My name is Lucia Langaney (She/Her). I am a sophomore studying Computer Science on the HCI Track.
My favorite games are Roblox, Minecraft, and the Sims 4. I have different phases of my life where I play each of these for months on end then stop for a year then come back to them. I like the creativity they allow me to have especially when it comes to designing and building. I also enjoy that some of these games have a multiplayer aspect which lets me play with my friends even though we are at a long distance from each other.
My favorite board game is called “Grass is Greener”. I randomly picked this game up off a Target shelf knowing nothing of it, but it turned out to be my and my friends’ favorite game to play together to date. It’s a card game where you have to beautify your yard and sabotage your neighbors in order to win Yard of the Month. It’s really fun and I highly recommend it. It was made by a small group of people and I think it was one of my inspirations for deciding to enroll in this class. Hopefully, I’ll be able to make a game like this of my own by the end of this class.
