P2: Refined prototype

Questions I’m looking for feedback on:

  • I’m curious on how the pacing of the story feels – are there parts where it feels too long/short, or too abrupt in the ending?
  • Based on previous playtests, I decided to incorporate more dead-ends that are led down to through more nodes, to increase a sense of challenge. I’m curious how challenging the game currently feels.
  • Does it become clear what Nexmind is?
  • The learning of the story is to prompt reflection on how AI and human choices can drive us to make various decisions. Sometimes the machine-proposed optimal solution is not the right solution. Can human instinct guide us towards a correct solution, and what are the implications of always having a recommendation engine to guide us as well? I’m wondering how clear this learning is to the player and what this game makes them reflect about.
