Hi, I’m Butch! I use he/him pronouns, and my favorite game is The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. It was my first Nintendo Switch game and I played it way too much during the pandemic; it has a wonderful balance of having a diverse world to explore, generally enjoyable story and characters, and a great balance of difficulty where it always felt like an accomplishment whenever a hurdle was surpassed. Plus there’s so much to collect, there always feels like a reason to boot the game up again and keep going!
Recently, I’ve been enjoying Spiritfarer, also on the Switch. So far, it seems like an enjoyable sim game, and I’ve really like playing it on airplanes or in my free time when I don’t have a large chunk of time to commit to a multiplayer strategy game – plus, it reminds me of Animal Crossing: New Horizons, another game which I have played way too much!
