My favorite game of all time is The Binding of Isaac. It’s a rogue-like game that involves traversing through randomly generated levels and boss fights. On top of this, you can pick up a bunch of power ups that change various stats, shooting and movement for each level. Each of these power ups can combine to make super interesting combinations – by the final levels you could have like 50 different items all interacting with each other in interesting ways. It’s basically gambling with items and you can end up having the most OP item combos and you feel like a god. I could play this game for infinite hours. The lore is also quite dark with strong religious undertones which I enjoy for some reason.
One game that I’ve been enjoying recently is Age of Empires IV. It’s an RTS game where you pick a historical civilization, gather resources, build cities and attack others. I love RTS games and I also play the game online with my Dad. My Dad has been playing the AOE series since the 1990s so he is pretty raw, and it’s super fun to shoot the shit while we play.
