Hi! My name is Emily (she/her) and I am a junior studying CS on the HCI track. My favorite game of all time is a tie between UNO and Mafia because they are games that I played all throughout high school with my friends, so they are super nostalgic and also lend for really fun, intense competition! A recent game that I played and enjoyed was actually a game with my family over spring break which you can look up online as the “soda can roll challenge” where there are different sections created on a table using tape that are each assigned to a prize. To win the prize, you have to roll a soda can and have it land inside the corresponding tape section. I found it super fun because it is very challenging, is based a little bit on chance, is played in a big group, and involves interacting with tangible objects!
