Life is Strange is an adventure game by SQUARE ENIX that follows the story of a girl named Max Caulfield, a photography senior who discovers she can rewind time while saving her best friend Chloe Price. The pair soon find themselves investigating the mysterious disappearance of fellow student Rachel Amber, uncovering a dark side to life in Arcadia Bay. Meanwhile, Max must quickly learn that changing the past can sometimes lead to a devastating future.
As Max Caulfield, the player is taken through a breathtaking narrative and although the storyline is somewhat linear, the game gives plenty of opportunities for the player to explore, interact, and influence the world of Arcadia Bay and its memorable cast of characters.
The game heavily follows a Narrative based fun that delves the player into an amazing and intriguing story and gives the player agency to make their own decisions and literally change how the story unfolds.
