Sketchnote: Game Architecture

My favorite game growing up was Super Princess Peach on the DS. The Nintendo game’s architecture combines arcs and loops. In order to save Mario from Browser, Princess Peach has to go through 8 worlds. In each world, Princess Peach has pass levels in each world to reach the final boss of the world; in that respect, the levels in each world is a loop. When Princess Peach defeats the world’s boss, we are cut to a scene with Browser once again escaping to the next world with Mario; the end of each world concludes an arc.
