Sketchnote Game Architecture

When I was in middle school, I loved to play the game Subway Surfer. The main loop is move (either side-to-side or by jumping) –> see if you keep running or get caught by the police –> keep running. You can also hit “bonus” items like jetpacks that speed up your running. There’s not much narrative in this game, but I noticed they began changing the city you run in each day as an attempt at a sequence of arcs.
