One of the games I enjoy is Transmission. It is a very simple game, where the mechanics mostly involve clicking and dragging some cubes on the screen (“packets”) to direct them to other places. The point is that, at each level, you fill all the locations with packets. This game consists mostly of fast-paced loops, since the feedback after you click or drag a packet is within seconds. However, once in a while, after you beat a whole series of levels, the game goes into an arc and a short animation introduces the new colour scheme, new theme, and new tools (for example, signal boosters that multiply your packets) for the next series of levels.
