When I was in high school, my biggest dream was to become an attorney (which has changed since getting to college), so playing this game was really fun and let me live out what it may be like to be an attorney. I highly appreciated the tutorial that the game gives you in the beginning, and it really helped me with my gameplay going forward.
The beginning of the game was fascinating and exciting for me, I loved being able to play through what it might be like to be a detective and try to figure out what would help me as an attorney. I really enjoyed having to figure out pieces of what felt like a puzzle while also using critical thinking skills in order to guide me to gathering the best data for my play as an attorney. After gathering evidence, you move forward and present that evidence in order to make your case.This was very exciting for me because even though I may not dream of being an attorney anymore, the excitement that the idea brings still made the game fun for me. While playing, I also found that the game not only is thrilling and fun, it it also humorous and the jokes that were made added a level of excitement to gameplay. Being an attorney is not the most light and easy job, so taking on that role may be difficult for players, but for me, the added level of humor made it fun and easy.
Visually, I thought this game was very fascinating. The characters are not only designed nicely, they also have personalities that show through gameplay by facial expressions and words that are used to get their message across. I really enjoyed the level of detail that was put into the characters and environment, which made gameplay even more fun.
Like I mentioned in my previous posts, I am not the biggest player of videogames, but this game in particular really opened me up a lot more to the idea of playing games like this. I found it so interesting that there are games such as this one, and it made me want to search for others. I could definitely see myself playing this more in my own free time and also showing this to my friends.
The level of intricacy that was put into every aspect of this game really allowed me to appreciate the amount of work that is put into games such as this and others. I find it so fascinating that people put so much work into creating games, and this game really showed me that people really have to think about many aspects of a game in order to keep it moving forward.
