Hello!

Nice to meet you!

My name is Mateus (he/him). I’m originally from Brazil, and I’m a PhD student in the Stanford Sustainable Systems Lab (S3L) ⚡

I love all kinds of games, but my favorite ones are video games. My all-time favorite is FIFA ⚽, especially Career Mode, which allows me to have a soccer career with any team I like, in a almost first-perspective view. I love it because my childhood dream was to be a professional soccer player, and when I play, I feel like I’m living out that dream (very successfully 😎) since I can play for the best teams in the world and represent my country’s national squad.

A game I have been enjoying recently is chess ♟️. I sometimes play with my cousin, who lives in Brazil, on weekends. I really appreciate it because it helps us stay connected, even though we are physically very far apart.
